Sculpture on the Farm Dungog is striving to become the pre-eminent regional exhibition of contemporary sculpture in Australia.
Sculpture on the Farm (SOF) is dedicated to enriching the cultural fabric of Dungog and the Hunter Valley for locals and visitors alike. We champion creativity and innovation, providing sculptors a platform to showcase and sell their work, whether at the Dungog Common or online.
Through our high-quality curation, SOF presents a diverse range of contemporary Australian sculptures, offering opportunities for artists at all stages of their careers. This, in turn, attracts visitors and highlights the beauty of our region, bolstering the local economy and fostering strong connections between businesses and the community through art. SOF is more than just a regional arts event; it’s a beacon of hope and renewal for our region.
Thank you for supporting Sculpture on the Farm as we continue to grow and positively impact our community. We look forward to seeing you in 2025.

Our Story
Dream became reality when Philippa Graham founded the not-for-profit organisation, Sculpture on the Farm Inc in 2017. Initially sparked by a growing interest in the arts within the Dungog area, Philippa's dream was to create a project that would not only support artists but also build and nurture the local community.
The event launched in 2018 at “Fosterton,” the rural property of John and Philippa Graham of Graers Pastoral. It quickly became a success, with sculptors, sightseers, sponsors, and sales flourishing in 2018, 2019, and again in 2021, even as the exhibition transitioned online due to Covid. By 2023, the event had established itself as a significant cultural gathering. Any profits from the exhibition are directed towards the acquisition of public sculpture for Dungog Shire.
Recognising the potential for even greater community impact, the SOF committee made the strategic decision to relocate the exhibition to the Dungog Common Recreational Reserve in 2025. This move aims to further integrate the event into the town’s fabric, enhancing its benefits for the community and attracting a wider audience, solidifying the Sculpture on the Farm Dungog BIENNALE as a key cultural event in the region.
